Wedding & Event Information

Thank you for considering us for your upcoming event. By The River, with its extensive lawns and large outdoor deck, situated directly on the water’s edge of the beautiful Richmond River, offers one of the most picturesque and private venues in Ballina.

The large Pandanus tree, set in the background, is a perfect place for your ceremony and gorgeous sunsets provide a unique and romantic scenery which is great for photos to capture the day. Our professional and friendly staff is dedicated to make sure your every need will be attended to making your day one never to forget!

Menus

Please find menus attached in our information pack. We offer an extensive dining experience ranging from cocktail service to buffet or 2 to 4 course meals. You can choose from basic and premium menus to suit your budget.

Beverages

We are fully licensed and we can cater to all your beverage needs. Please contact us regarding our current beverage list. We are not BYO.

Venue Hire & Setup Costs

By The River is available any day of the week for your exclusive use.
A fee of $450 applies on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and $300 on any other day. A full linen service of serviettes and table clothes will be provided free of charge when using our rectangular tables. Table skirting will need to be arranged by you if required. You can decorate the venue the way you like, using your own imagination. That way it will look exactly the way you want it and also you have more control over your budget. We only stress not to incur any damage to the property. You can also have your ceremony at the site. We do not charge an extra for this service.
